IS

God is not your modern or ancient preferences; He IS who He IS.

Just because you are offended, just because the Pharisaic-minded have been saying exactly what you are saying for hundreds or thousands of years, does not mean you have special favor with God.

Where you look for declared dogma, the Lord looks at the heart. With covetous envy, you outwardly look around at how many people signal they agree with you, as if it will earn you some sort of brownie points or churchy merit badge.

If your heart truly loved God, and not man, the extreme conformity you are living in would give you great concern, for what noteworthy person in the book you worship did not shock all those in power and even those closest to them?? Go ahead, name one.

You worry about you; don’t be so concerned with me.

You can have your consensus, I’ll keep my adventure.

You can have your idols, I’m happy with a relationship.

You can keep your stale sacrifice, I’ll do just fine with fresh fire.

Whom God has set free is free indeed!

Go on, enjoy your faux safety and control, as for me, I will risk, I will run free.

Where the Spirit of the Lord is, is there not Liberty?

Wheresoever you do not think freely both for yourself and as yourself, you are more alone than you will ever be. For in that place, you are not even with yourself.

For some of you, I know your reaction… It is, and I say this with all sincerity, embarrassingly predictable… You are not unique, for you have abandoned yourself.
