POWER ONLY
The way you use POWER is the most important thing about you.
Do you use it to glorify yourself? Do you use it to lift others up? Do you have the wisdom to understand how your power might benefit everyone including yourself? Do you have the courage to push past the walls that attempt to curtail your power toward the current missteps of your generations preferred scientific consensus group-think delusions?
There isn’t a single place power exists where those who possess it are not called to:
Hold important contested land against overwhelming odds. @Helm’sDeep
Breakthrough and rout the rotten routine ridden ruling rats rigging everything in their favor. #RideoftheRohirrim
Those who fail to do so fall into the despair of every ruler who stays home in the season where kings go to war, in all such instances a Wormtongue finds their way in.
History is an unending story of sophisticated and “enlightened” peoples forgetting that it is Power Only that determines the fate of nations. These decadent City States / Empires / Nations fall to a vastly “inferior” people who live thee rule of the universe: POWER ONLY. It is up to us to Make Ready.
A great litmus test: Is your power actively inspiring others? Do people take note? Do others want to be involved? This last one is the most telling test for any pursuit. People wanting to be involved is the single greatest indication of value. Does your power forge a round table of champions who each live the beauty where the scope of their achievements surprise even themselves? Does your power have lineage? Do those who orbit your kingdom productively challenge you and go on to do greater things or do they follow you around with a bag of yeses? Does your power promote those who are loyal above all else or those who drive great results. Like all great things, the answer is found in the tension, yet it is a common misnomer that the former is a greater accomplishment. This misprioritization is one of the fundamental misunderstandings for those with authoritarian tendencies who often prefer blind loyalty over attention to results.
Does your power leave a wake of bodies or new growth? The champion and defeated ultimately live together. The greatest victory is to rend your most bitter enemy a friend.
A Heart of Royalty defends its kingdom from savages on their border by pursuing them in their capital city not by fighting them at the border. The Royal cleans up the decay from within not by picking up the trash from the street, but by destroying the foolishness that allows it.
